My task of the week was to create a Blogger Blog. At first I was bored, but after a while I was so interested in blogging that I spent 4 hours doing it! It was awesome. I really enjoyed creating a blog.Blogs can be used in education because they introduce students to public writing. They want to write, learn and communicate. They are able to share information and their personal experiences with people around the world.

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice blog you have got. Blogs do introduce students to public writing and a real, authentic audience. Like you, I always spend ours customizing my blogs, replying to comments, or commenting and reading other blogs.

I´m glad you got more excited about blogging once you got the hang of it, Daniela. You mentioned a very important aspect of blogging, the authentic audience a group of students can have through blogging. Now, in your case, how would you use it?

ReplyDeleteIf I still taught, I would encourage students to collaborate with my blog. They could post their works, photographs, drawings or contribute with new ideas. They would be divided in groups and each group could create their own blog.
ReplyDeleteTeachers can show class works on the blog, where everybody can read what his friend wrote. This is an interesting way of discussing the content of the class.
